Student Wellbeing & The IB Diploma Program
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is rigorous and demanding of students and school staff. In the eyes of many, it can be seen as overwhelming and stressful and for some it can be a source of pressure which can wreak havoc on mental health.
This session, led by John Patton, IB DP Coordinator and University Counsellor at St. Gilgen International School in Austria, focuses on the structures, systems and curricula educators can put in place to create a meaningful, achievable and enjoyable diploma programme experience for all.
In this short and sharp session, educators will come to understand the key stressors affecting those in our care, and actionable ways to address these with respect and mutual understanding.
