Ohanyan Educational Complex is a leading and forward-thinking educational institution

in Avan, Yerevan, providing a continuous learning journey from preschool through

Grade 12. Established in 1997 by a family of passionate educators, Ohanyan has been

at the forefront of educational innovation in Armenia—offering student-centered

learning, small class sizes, and modern, internationally aligned curricula.

Our mission is to cultivate a love of learning, curiosity, and creativity in every child within

a safe, respectful, and inclusive community. We prepare students to become thoughtful,

responsible, and globally minded citizens capable of navigating the complexities of an

ever-changing world.

Ohanyan was among the first schools in Armenia to introduce STEAM education in

2009. Our learning programmes are inquiry-, project-, play-, and problem-based, with a

strong focus on critical thinking, collaboration, self-regulation, and self-awareness.

We are proud to be an authorised IB World School since July 2023, offering both the

Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), providing students

with a truly global education.
