UWC Mostar – “Building bridges between people and cultures through inspiring, quality education”

United World College in Mostar (UWC Mostar) was founded in 2006 and is
one of 18 colleges within the UWC movement sharing the mission of making
education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a
sustainable future. With students and alumni from more than 100 countries of
the world, UWC Mostar is the only UWC school in the Balkans.

UWC Mostar offers a practical demonstration of education that unites,
inspires and engages students and the wider community to strive for a
peaceful and sustainable future through active local partnerships.

The college aims to develop educational practices relevant for post-conflict
and transitional societies and educates students to learn and appreciate their
differences, while promoting equality, tolerance, and critical thinking.
