Bucharest Beirut International School

Founded in 2003, BBIS is authorized by the Romanian and Lebanese Ministry of Education. In 2017 our school became an International Baccalaureate World School authorized for the Diploma Programme (DP). In 2021, BBIS has been authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme of the IB. Currently, Bucharest- Beirut International School is a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme to be the third IB continuum school in Romania. Through the IB and the Lebanese programmes, we offer students from Early Years to Year 12 an inquiry based curriculum aligned for a smooth transition from PYP to MYP leading to DP.
