Hannah Burke-Tomlinson of Outstanding Schools will open this hands-on workshop with Jack George and Tomas Duckling from Aiglon College, Switzerland on how schools can move ahead with developing and implementing safeguarding practices to meet the challenges of new AI.
During the workshop, they will address:
The potential of AI for students’ learning as well as its potential impact on their mental health and wellbeing.
The ethics of AI usage in international schools:
How students can be educated to use AI safely, effectively, and responsibly
What responsibility schools should take with regards to students’ use of engagement with AI
How international schools should engage in outreach with parents and caregivers to educate them about AI and any associated wellbeing or safeguarding concerns.
Collaborating with fellow delegates to discern how your school can create robust, contextually responsive safeguarding policies around ChatGPT and other forms of AI.
